Today we are going to take a walk on the crafty side with a DIY magnet board!!!
Are you ready for a super cute (and cheap) craft? I sure hope so!! I love crafty stuff just about as much as I love to cook, so it only makes sense to throw stuff like this in every now and then.
This project all started with a cookie sheet from the dollar store – crazy, isn’t it? It’s a quick, cheap, and totally customizable craft for any style or use.
I was going for a magnet board that I could use as a message board for appointments/phone calls and such, so I attached magnets to the back of my board and I put it up on the side of the refrigerator. You could also sit it in a frame holder like it is in the picture below for a different look.
You could use it as a memo board, recipe card holder for recipes you’re using that week, picture board, or even a place to hang a few bible verses that you need to be reminded of often! See…so many uses!
Want to make one, too? If so, what would your use your magnet board for?
2-Paint Brush (1 for paint, 1 for Mod Podge)
Scrapbook Paper (2 Sheets)
Ribbon/Stickers of choice
Magnets (if you want to hang on the side of the refrigerator)
1. Paint edges of cookie sheet.
2. Cut scrapbook paper to fit the cookie sheet. Adhere paper to the cookie sheet with Mod Podge – then apply a coat of Mod Podge on top once the first coat is dry.
3. Decorate with ribbon or stickers of choice.
