Acrylic Post-It Note Holder – Great for Christmas

by Katie on December 5, 2012

This Post-It Note Holder would make a great gift for a teacher, co-workers, or anyone you want to give a small handmade gift to this Christmas!

(It just so happens, though, that I made it for myself. :) )

Isn’t it cute?

Tie it up with a pen and you have a great (and inexpensive) gift to give!

Here’s what you need:
Clear picture frame (I bought mine for $.97 at Walmart)
Scrapbook paper
Stickers/Ribbon/Chipboard Letters to embellish it
Glue stick or tape to adhere embellishments to scrapbook paper
Post-It Notes
Double sided tape or glue (not shown)

How to:
Remove the paper from the picture frame and use it as a guide to cut your scrapbook paper. Decorate the scrapbook paper with stickers or ribbons and insert back into the picture frame. Then attach anything you want on the outside of the frame – like the chipboard letters that I used.

Attach the post it notes. My post it notes kept falling off of my frame. It could have been because they were off brand and not as sticky. Either way, placing double sided tape to the back of the post it notes before attaching will keep them in place. Or, for a more permanent option you could glue the post it notes to the frame.

Ry loved these at your class! We didn’t know about the pad falling off but double sided tape would be a great solution. Just might have to make one for her.
