Banana Bread has got to be one of my favorite breakfasts. I’m really just a fan of quick breads in general with a nice cup of tea. I love Emmy’s Pumpkin Bread in the fall and Cranberry Orange Bread around Christmas.
Banana Bread is good because it’s an all year food. It doesn’t have a “season”. The Best Banana Bread was one of the first recipes I made when I got married and I LOVE it. I never strayed from it until I had to start eating gluten free.
And then a lot of recipes went out the window…
I went a LONG time without any type of quick bread or muffin…I had accepted the fact that things like that were gone or if I made it it wouldn’t taste the same. Then it all changed the day I tried a wonderful banana bread recipe on the back of my Pamela’s baking mix bag. The first time, I made the recipe off of the bag and the next time I got all crazy and added a cream cheese swirl.
This banana bread is SO delicious, and you would never know it is gluten free. In fact, my sister was over one day and I gave her a piece and she thought it was better than normal banana bread!
If you are gluten free you have got to try this recipe! And if you aren’t, you could substitute your favorite banana bread into the recipe and add the cream cheese swirl to it. Or you could just make my old favorite – The Best Banana Bread.
