My Favorite Kitchen Things {Christmas Ideas – $20 and under}

by Katie on December 11, 2013

There are so many kitchen related thing that I love! I knew I wanted to share some ideas for kitchen gifts this year, but had a hard time narrowing it down. So I placed a $20 limit to narrow it down. Now we have 5 of my favorite kitchen things that are very budget friendly.

I have all these items and use them regularly…most of them I’ve used for years.

5 Kitchen Items I LOVE that are great for Christmas ($20 or less)

Probably 5 years ago my mom bought me 2 of these Chef’n Switchit Spatula($9.99 on Amazon) for Christmas. They are my FAVORITE spatulas and I’ve used them just about daily the entire time.  They are durable, last forever, are dishwasher safe, and most importantly to me…they aren’t flimsy.

I have plans to get some more in the near future.  Mine are still fine, but I love the colors they have now!

Oh, my beloved Sunbeam Hot Shot ($19.99). If you like to make a single cup of tea or hot chocolate this is the machine for you. I’ve had mine since I’ve been married and use it daily.  I love my tea kettle, too, but when I want a quick single cup of tea I can have it in a minute with this.

I have a white one, that was the only option years ago.  I think it’s time to upgrade mine to a black one…especially since they have cord storage now.  Cord storage sold me. :)

I’ve mentioned my love for both Betty Crocker and this Betty Crocker Bridal Cookbook ($21 on Amazon) many times before. It’s the bridal edition, but who cares…it’s the best basic cookbook I have. And everyone needs a good old basic cookbook, right?

It wasn’t until a couple years ago that I learned of the Garlic Press ($9.45 on Amazon). What rock was I living under?! I hate mincing garlic and getting that nasty smell stuck on my fingers. That happens no more! I picked mine up at Ikea, but this one would do the same thing.

I love this OXO Good Grips Box Grater($17.99 on Amazon) because it has a cup attached. The benefits are two fold. One being that it is less mess because the cheese stays in the measuring cup. And two, it measures 1 cup of cheese for you. It’s foolproof and I love it!

What are your favorite kitchen items??
