New Years Appetizer Round Up

by Katie on December 27, 2013

Are you ready to celebrate New Year’s Eve? It’s right around the corner…and then we will be done with the celebrating for a while. In my opinion, that’s not such a bad thing. By this time I’m usually ready to put the decorations up, get life back to normal, and get back into eating healthy (ish).

But before we dive back into eating healthy we always celebrate New Year’s Eve with appetizers for dinner! It’s a fabulous and totally unbalanced meal, but it’s only a once a year thing! This year I’m serving Saucy Meatballs (which I made for Christmas and they were SO good) and a few of the appetizers below.

These are all my recipes, and you can click the link or the photo to get to the recipe! Make sure you pin your favorites so you don’t forget about them!

My Mamaw’s Cheese Ball is pretty much the best cheese ball out there. There are so many recipes out there, many of which are good, but this is just an awesome basic cheese ball.

If you like hummus then you must try making this Roasted Red Pepper Hummus! It’s easy, and it really tastes better than store bought (and store bought is pretty good!). I have to remind myself not to eat the whole batch each time I make it.

New Year's Eve Recipes

Baked Brie with Fig Spread is amazing served with sliced apples and pears!! It’s made with just 2 ingredients: brie + fig spread and it’s just SO good! I usually serve this on New Year’s Eve for our appetizer dinner!

I just posted this Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball over at Blissfully Ever After for my monthly contributor post. It’s easy to make and tastes like cheesecake in a dip. I can never get enough of it when I make it!

New Year's Appetizer Recipes

Tzatziki is a greek yogurt dip that has cucumber and dill in it. I first had it on a gyro years ago and fell in love! It’s so addicting (and healthy) and great served as a dip for pita chips or fresh veggies! You will find yourself coming back for more and more of this Tzatziki!

Appetizer Recipes

Fresh tomatoes are hard to come by this time of year, but not to worry…this One-Minute Salsa uses canned tomatoes. And it’s my favorite salsa ever! Plus it’s made in one minute. You can’t beat that!!

Appetizer Recipes - New Year's Eve

I like to make a batch of these Parmesan Almonds up when I’m really dieting to keep on hand for a snack. They are great because they are filling! But – they aren’t just for dieting, they are great to sit out at a party. They don’t taste like diet food at all!

Appetizer Recipe Ideas

Taco anything is a hit in our house, so it’s no exception that we love this Taco Dip! It’s another easy recipe that tastes delicious!

Hot Spinach Dip is something I just can’t resist! It’s so delicious!! How can one not love a good spinach dip??

New Year's Eve recipes

This Fresh Guacamole was inspired from a trip to San Antonio where they added fresh orange to the guacamole!

New Year's Eve Recipes

This Spicy Chipotle Chex Mix has a little kick! Nothing too hot, but just a little spice!
