Fresh Fruit with a Honey-Orange Yogurt Dressing

by Katie on April 1, 2015

Spring is here and I couldn’t be happier! Along with sunny, warmer weather I can’t get my hands on enough fresh fruit! It’s not quite the perfect time for it, but I’m just so eager for juicy strawberries and tart raspberries that I just can’t wait any longer!

I put a little twist on regular berries and added a honey-orange yogurt dressing. It barely coats the berries and gives them a sweet yet tangy orange flavor. It’s absolutely delicious! It would be perfect for a lighter dessert for your Easter celebration this Sunday.

Fruit with orange

To get the great orange flavor in the dressing I used my Young Living Orange Essential Oil. I have a lot of favorite oils, but orange is at the top. They all have their uses…orange is my go-to in water and my diffuser. It’s my happy oil. ;)

Orange Oil

If you have been thinking about trying oils (quit thinking and just do it – you can come back and thank me later!), now is a good time to jump. I’ve got a special for the next couple of days where I’m offering a reference book, starter guide and a handmade essential oil bag (by yours truly). Killer deal and you can find out how to get it here.

The Premium Starter Kit doesn’t come with orange, but you could easily use the Citrus Fresh that does come in the kit (love that one too!). Another thing I love about orange is that it’s really inexpensive. A 15ml bottle (around 250 drops) is only $10.75 (wholesale)! ¬†With just 1-2 drops needed…that’s enough to flavor A LOT of glasses of water!
